The artist duo Xenia Lesniewski and Julia Rublow are forming the band STRAND.
With changing line-ups we are challenging the medium of music in a experimental and performative way.
2016 the concept of 6 Eps was born, the first release of the EP STRAND AMINOREX took place in Hamburg
and includes 30 CDs, signed, numbered with a booklet hand produced drawings.
The second release of the EP STAND BACCALA took place in Pardubice, Czech Republic 2016
and includes 50 CDs, signed, numbered with a printed booklet.
The music video of the song Lichtwelle from the first EP was nominated for the best german music video
at the filmfestival in Oberhausen in 2016.
